Great book. I really enjoyed it. This is my genre and this book did not disappoint. My only regret is that my copy was PDF and I would have rather have the book. I received this book free as a give away and it turned out to be a great read.

Politikill by Timothy Gene Sojka is a very good murder mystery tied into political corruption. At the start of the book, there appears to be two separate story lines. One about the murder of US Senators in the Watergate Hotel. The killers release a video of the senators accepting bribes over a piece of legislation. The other story line is about a young woman entering the US shortly before WWII. Her story is told in flashbacks to various times in her life and her role in fighting political corruption. I found this an interesting read with a bit different twist. Some of it mirrors current political current, and the author's concern for political crime and misinformation is apparent. His previous book was well received, and this one should be as well.

I found this to be a great read that kept me guessing what would be happening next. The book focused on how messed up politics are and the story of how the choices of some to get a head affected those around them. The so-called villains in this book were actually brave enough to punish those who abused their power.
