Young honeymooners Bill and Lisa end up spending the night at the mysterious castle of Countess Dominova (Bambi Allen). In the middle of the night Bill goes for a wander and spies the Countess taking part in a Satanic lesbian ritual. Returning to bed he is seduced by a pair of hot succubi - a punishment, apparently, for his nocturnal wandering. The next morning Bill and Lisa go down to breakfast only to find themselves the centrepiece in a sex-fuelled Black Mass. At the end of proceedings they decide to escape, but conclude they cannot leave behind their new life of depravity and degradation and stay on to become residents at the castle. Directed by Zoltan G. Spencer with an eye to maximum sleaze, nudity and general sexploitation lunacy. The film is low budget with little production value - there is no dialogue, with the "story" told in voiceover by Bill, voiced by a sonorous and incredulous Spencer. The soundtrack consists of some cod psych-prog noodling, with occasional stabs of church organ thrown in for good measure - all this adds an additional dimension of oddness to proceedings. The actors all seems to be having a fine time with Bambi Allen looking particularly spectacular as the sexily malevolent Dominova, who at one stage wears the most eye-searingly wild '70s cat-suit that you're ever likely to see. "Terror at Orgy Castle" is of course absolute rubbish, but what trashy, sordid, hugely entertaining rubbish it is - not only that it has a nice touch of subversion at the very end… (more)
