This book did what no other book has done (aside from the Bible). That is to so set up the difference between God and man. God is holy. Man is sinful. Sproul makes the holiness of God so easily seen and by comparison, the sinful state of man. Reading this book was a process of allowing the Spirit to show me who I really am...seeing myself as God sees me. How painful, but so needed! Get it!

The Holiness of God by R. C. Sproul, Knowing God by J. I. Packer, and Loving God by Chuck Colson were three of the most important books that I read during my early years of college.

No matter whether you agree with the author or not, this book should get the reader to ask important questions.… (more)
