It's a fun little book that shows off some of the cool things around Seattle, saying "good day" or "good evening" or "good night" to each one. Introduces the Puget Sound, Space Needle, Mt. Rainier, etc.
Read while on a trip waiting for colleagues to find gifts for their children. I didn't like it quite as much as last year's Chicago book, as there were no sports teams mentioned. Still a cute book for the tiny tots to read before (or during or after) a trip to Seattle.
This book takes a young reader through a day in Seattle. The story starts in the morning and takes a reader to several well-known Seattle spots including the Space Needle, say hello to Mt. Rainier, Ballard Locks, Burke Gilman trail, and so forth. A fun way for a family to share a city and to get ready for bed. Little hands that like to grab and put things in their mouths will also find satisfaction in the thick board book pages.
