Ingeborg Suhr's cookbook Mad (English translation: Food), published in 1909, was a bestseller and ran through 26 editions. It became a Danish classic and reflected, to a large extent, the Danish food culture of the early 1900s. In 2009, it was published in a modern edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original cookbook.
