I feel this book can be helpful to students and older people who have a need to remember various things but are having difficulty in doing so.
Of the seven chapters which make up this book I found the first three chapters to be the most interesting. Although they are very short both in words and in content they do give the reader simple exercises and strategies to help improve the memory. The method I liked best of all was "The Peg Method" which seems easy enough to apply but which I would have liked to have had some further details supplied regarding the application of larger numbers as well as any limitations that this method may have.
As for the final two chapters I found them to be a bit bland in regards to protecting and keeping your memory in shape by maintaining a good physical, mental and healthy lifestyle.
Perhaps the most important piece of advice the reader is given and which we often overlook is "If you need to remember something, give it your full attention." If that advice is followed along with the techniques provided I am sure a person's memory will improve.
