A very concise, pocket-sized guide to the sites, sounds, delights & history of HELSINKI, the capital of Finland.

A very basic city guide to Berlin published by the tour company Thomas Cook. Easy to flick through to get the main highlights. Pocket size if you want to take it with you. Gives you a summary of the city. No more.

This is exactly what it says on the cover - if you are planning on travelling Europe by rail, this is a good start as it not only gives an overview of the rail services in each country, but also suggests some routes to consider. Of course now we have the internet to help plan, which is starting to supersede this kind of book, but it is still nice to curl up with guides like this and do a bit of dreaming/planning when you are considering going travelling.
