Anne is the author of A Skeptic's Guide to Writers' Houses (University of Pennsylvania Press 2010) and the forthcoming The History and Uncertain Future of Handwriting (Bloomsbury 2014). Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Wired and other journals. She has appeared on The Diane Rehm Show, NPR Weekend Edition and NPR Talk of the Nation. Anne is Writer-in Residence at Oberlin and she is a member of the National Book Critics Circle.
