This was such an interesting take on Zeus and his fellow Olympians. Zeus' wife (and those of his brothers Poseidon and Hades) got annoyed with their philandering with the human population so they put a curse on the guys to stop them. Tons of years later, Hades finds a loophole and Zeus goes to earth to find his "spark". When he meets Cameron, he knows immediately that he is the one true soul for him. Cameron was a great character. He was driven towards his career and very supportive to his sister who is a single mother. He meets "Zachary" and is immediately taken with him. They start dating and Zachary/Zeus is such a sweetheart.

Of course things get crazy when Zeus has to tell Cameron about who he is and what his future could be. Zeus is used to taking what he wants and being the big bad ruler, but he realizes that he needs to be different to keep Cameron and he genuinely wants Cameron to be happy. There is mpreg in this, and I wish there was a bit more explanation about all of that. I also wish we saw a bit more of Zeus and Cameron once they were together in Olympus and how their lives turned out, but I'm hoping we will see more of them in the next books.

Very cool concept and I am really interested in reading more of these!

Poseidon finally gets to find his spark! He tried doubting what was going on with Zeus and didn't want to get his hopes up about ending his loneliness. It all makes sense in his world, though, when he meets Brooke. Brooke is a professional surfer who feels most at home when he is in the water, and that is a perfect match for Poseidon. Brooke meets "Patrick" and is instantly attracted to him. They have an immediate connection, but Brooke fears the feelings he is starting to have for Patrick. Everything Poseidon can offer Brooke is exactly what Brooke needs. I liked watching them get to know each other. There is definitely more to the overall story here with the other brothers and the curse, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Very interesting series, and I am loving the story.

I am really loving this series. It is so clever. This was Hades' book, and he was just as much of a Grumpy Gus as I would expect him to be. Gideon was a perfect match for him in many ways, but most importantly he was able to give as good as Hades did with attitude. There is still so much drama I can imagine will blow up in the future books as more gods get their spark, and I know the goddesses will get madder and madder. I'm really looking forward to reading it.

This was super short, but very adorable. Cam hasn’t seen his sister or her kids in quite some time, and he is missing them at the holidays. I loved watching him get to reconnect with them, even if there were some complications such as being immortal and father of a baby god. There is definitely room for reconnection between him and his sister, but it was great to have this little interlude. I love how Cam has Zeus wrapped around his finger. Lol
