Quick humourous read about an English eccentric family who live in a dilapidated mansion. Love the inclusion of Gigi the hippopotamus.

I enjoyed this fiction idea of how World War II had been won. It was extremely creative and funny. I also liked the link to the London Zoo and the animals there. 4/5 stars!

I guessed the ending, and Savannah told me I was right so I didn't bother finishing it. Good middle-grade book though! (DNF @ Page 137)
