The Hon. Constance Mary Elizabeth Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie was the daughter of Alexander Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, 1st Baron Lamington and his wife Annabella Drummond. In 1867, she married Reginald Sackville, 7th Earl De La Warr, with whom she had five children. After her marriage, she was styled Countess De La Warr. In 1902, following her first husband's death, she remarried to Rev. Paul Wyatt. In addition to writing a biographer of Duchess Anne of Brittany, she translated writings of St. Francis of Assisi into English.
