Short biography
Sunny Yang from Chappaqua, New York, has lived in Japan for four years. A teacher of ikebana and arts and crafts, she was particularly drawn to the beauty of Japanese textiles. Childhood memories of helping her mother select fabrics from a merchant in her native Korea came flooding back as she pursued this interest and provided the inspiration for her books on Japanese and Korean textiles.
