- Gordon Young was the Chief Paris Correspondent of the Daily Mail. Born in Bristol, 1905, he was Reuter's Chief Correspondent in Berlin from 1934 to 1937, and later Associate Editor of Reuters. He served as a war correspondent in India and the Middle East and as a special correspondent in Scandinavia. His books include biographies of Marshal Goering and Prince Aly Khan, Valley of Silence (the mystery of the Drummond murders), and Stalin's Heirs, a study of the Kremlin leaders.
