Award description

The Historia Nova Prize, established in 2012 by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation and Academic Studies Press, is designed to stimulate scholarship in the fields of Russian Intellectual and Cultural History and support the professional status of Russian Studies.

The prize is given annually at the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) conference in November.
