The Professor and the Parson: A Story of Desire, Deceit and Defrocking by Adam Sismanwife #6

Character description

Ann Brinded married Robert Parkins Peters just before he set sail for the United States in 1966. Unlike most of his very brief marriages, they remained together for almost 40 years. She helped him run the schools that he attempted to found. Around 1974, Robert and Ann were running St. Aiden's school in Shropshire, Robert took a second job at Aylestone School in Hereford under the name Robert Parkins. He contracted a bigamous marriage with a woman named Margaret who lived in Hereford. When he was dismissed from Aylestone for falsifying his credentials, he apparently abandoned Margaret.
