Character description

George Bryan Brummell (1778-1840), known as "Beau" Brummell, set the elegant styles and fashions for men in Regency England as a member of the social circle around George, The Prince Regent (the future King George IV). He is credited with establishing the mode of men wearing fitted, beautifully cut suits in understated colors, worn with elaborately-knotted cravats. His name became a byword for dandyism in dressing.
