Character description

Eleanor of Provence (1223?–1291) was the second daughter and co-heiress of the wealthy domains of Count Raymond Berenguer IV of Provence and Beatrice of Savoy. In 1236, she married King Henry III of England, with whom she had five children. She strengthened the alliance with France, where her sister Marguerite was queen.
