Character description

Emma of Normandy (c. 985–1052), a daughter of Richard the Fearless, Duke of Normandy, was Queen Consort of England twice, by successive marriages. Her first husband was King Æthelred the Unready and her second was King Canute. Two of her sons and two stepsons became kings of England, as did her great-nephew, William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy.
