Henrietta Knight, née St. John, Lady Luxborough (1699-1756), half-sister of the influential politician Henry St. John, 1st Viscount Bolingroke, was exiled by her husband to his estate of Barrells in Warwickshire. There she devoted herself to pioneering farming and gardening, and writing poetry.
