Character description

Juana or Joanna I (1479–1555), known to history as "the Mad" ("Juana La Loca"), was Queen of Castile in her own right as heiress of her parents Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. She was married to the Hapsburg Archduke Philip of Burgundy, with whom she had 6 children, including the future Emperor Charles V. However, she never ruled; her father and her son kept her imprisoned for most of her life.
