Character description

Miyamoto Usagi's feudal master, Mifune stood for all that is good and was the epitome of the bushido code. He was the patron of the Dogora fencing school and presented Usagi with his first set of daisho.
He once asked Usagi if there was anything stronger than a samurai's loyalty to his lord. Usagi shook his head, but Mifune explained that a lord's loyalty to his men was greater still. Mifune fell in battle against Lord Hikiji, betrayed by one of his trusted generals. Usagi buried the head of his lord, and fled the scene. Mifune proved his undying loyalty by saving Usagi from the clutches of a haunt in the tangled skein. Usagi remains loyal to Mifune to this day.
