The British fashion designer Lucy Duff Gordon, was born Lucy Sutherland in 1863. She was raised in Guelph, Ontario. Lucy's younger sister was Elinor Glyn.

'Lucile Ltd.' her flagship store was situated in Hanover Square, London.
Lucy, Lady Duff Gordon died in 1935.
