Character description

Margaret of York (1446–1503), daughter of Richard, Duke of York and Cecily Neville, was Duchess of Burgundy by her marriage to Duke Charles the Bold. She provided support during the Wars of the Roses to her brothers, two of whom became kings of England as Edward IV and Richard III. She was a good friend to her stepdaughter Mary of Burgundy, known as "Mary the Rich."
