Character description

Margarethe von Oven (1904-1991), the daughter of an aristocratic Prussian family, worked as a secretary for the German military. She took part in the anti-Nazi conspiracy to overthrow Hitler known as the 20 July 1944 Plot, and was briefly imprisoned after it failed. She is also known by her married name, Countess Margarethe von Hardenberg.
