Character description

Maria of Hungary, also known as Mary or Maria of Hapsburg or of Austria (1505–1558) was a sister of the Emperor Charles V. She married King Louis II of Hungary and Bohemia and after his death in battle at a young age was appointed by her brother regent or governor of the Netherlands, succeeding her aunt Archduchess Margaret.
