Character description

Philip the Bold, Duke of Burgundy (1342-1404), also known as Philip II of Burgundy, was a son of King John II of France and his wife, Bonne of Luxembourg. By his marriage to the heiress Margaret III of Flanders, he also became Count of Flanders and Artois. They were the founders of the Burgundian branch of the House of Valois.
