Character description

Anna Comnena (1083–1153), a Byzantine princess and historian, was a daughter of the Emperor Alexius I Comnenus and Empress Irene Doukaina. She received an extraordinary education by the standards of her era, and wrote the history-biography of her father known as the Alexiad.
