Character description

Sir Philip Sidney (1554–1586) was considered one of the Elizabethan Age's most romantic and noble figures. Well known in his lifetime as a poet, courtier and soldier, he became even more famous after his tragic death in battle at age 31. He was mourned by generations as the epitome of English chivalry and courage.
