Character description

Yvette Farnoux, née Baumann (1919-2015) joined the French Resistance in Paris at age 21 and rose to become a leader. She and her first husband Jean-Guy Bernard were arrested in 1944 and never saw each other again. She survived Auschwitz-Birkenau, Ravensbrück and a forced death march. After WWII, she remarried to Abel Farnoux.
