Love In Motion by Angela K Parker (Angela K Parker)

This book is an eBook, not a physical book.

Recipient is asked to provide a review in exchange for this book.

Offered by AngelaKParker (author): This giveaway is offered by the author, Angela K Parker. Giveaway winners will receive a Direct to Kindle ebook of Love In Motion written in the English language. Reviews are appreciated after reading.

Description: Dalton

The thing about love…

It’s kind & beautiful, soft & hard, forgiving & emotional, but love can also be blind. Love can twist and turn you into someone unrecognizable.

That’s the way it was for Josie and me. She became my everything. I fell heart over mind, allowing her to take the only thing that I could call my own. The life I envisioned for us was blurred by secrets, hard to overcome. She made me question whether what we had was based on truth or a lie.

Joselyn

Dalton was an obstacle in the way of what I’d always shied away from, and the only way to reach my end was through him. So, I made a choice to get close to him, even when I shouldn’t have. We were never meant to be what we became. I didn’t intend for something forced to turn into something real. In the end, Dalton was so much more than just a means to an end. He held the key to everything, including my heart. It was his to have, to hold, to break, and to mend.

That’s the thing about love…
It can’t be forced. It just happens, and once it’s in motion, it’s impossible to stop.

Description: Logan

The boss’s daughter. The untouchable. The unbeatable. That’s what everyone thinks of me.

When a new business deal presents itself, my father jumps at the chance to win the bid, and I’m thrown into an unexpected competition with one of my co-workers. From the start, something felt off about the arrangement, and I know exactly why when I come face-to-face with my past.

Growing up, Chris was my constant, the main piece to my puzzle. With him, I felt safe, adored, and loved. He was my best friend, and I let him go.

Now he’s back, with more than just a business deal in mind. He expects me to pick up where we left off, but I don’t know if I can because that would lead to me telling him that I’m in love with my best friend.

Christoph

I’ve learned a lot over the years, the most important being, there is no substitute great enough for me to forget Logan.

Best friends - Always, even when we were apart.
Lovers - Never, but when I was with her, I felt complete.
She was my apple, ripe, shiny, forbidden, but I wanted her.

That was four years ago, and the only thing that’s changed is time and distance.
The only thing standing between us is her.

Will Logan be able to handle the demands of being a high-powered architect while evading her feelings for Chris? Or will she crumble under the pressure and fall completely for her best friend?

Recipient is asked to provide a review in exchange for this book.

Offered by jawertman (author): Thank you very much for your interest in my book! Reviews mean absolutely everything to writers, so thank you for supporting independent publishing!

Description: Motherless since birth and newly bereft of his father, King Henry VIII, nine-year-old Edward Tudor ascends to the throne of England and quickly learns that he cannot trust anyone, even himself.

Edward is at first relieved that his uncle, the new Duke of Somerset, will act on his behalf as Lord Protector, but this consolation evaporates as jealousy spreads through the court. Challengers arise on all sides to wrest control of the child king, and through him, England.

While Edward can bring frustratingly little direction to the Council’s policies, he refuses to abandon his one firm conviction: that Catholicism has no place in England. When Edward falls ill, this steadfast belief threatens England’s best hope for a smooth succession: the transfer of the throne to Edward’s very Catholic half-sister, Mary Tudor, whose heart’s desire is to return the realm to the way it worshipped in her mother’s day.

The Strong Ones: How a Band of Civilian Women Made Their Mark on the Army by Sara Hammel (Sara Hammel)

This book is an eBook, not a physical book.

Recipient is asked to provide a review in exchange for this book.

Offered by sarawriting (author): I am the author of The Strong Ones. Be one of the first to read my latest book—my hope is to generate some early reviews. Part military history, part memoir, it is a searingly honest look at what it was like to be an ordinary civilian acting as a test subject in a rigorous Army experiment. I hope in these hard times readers find it an uplifting and inspiring way to spend a few hours.

Description: They said women couldn't keep up.

They said women weren't strong enough to do the military's toughest jobs.

In 1995, a ragtag band of civilians came to prove them wrong.

THE STRONG ONES will inspire a new generation with its cast of ordinary women overcoming daunting obstacles-and will thrill readers with a stunning and heartwarming twist.

The Strong Ones is the inspiring true story of forty-five civilian women, including the author, who volunteered for a controversial seven-month Army strength study in 1995-and proved just how strong women can get. A hybrid of memoir and military history that will appeal to fans of Wild and Ashley's War, The Strong Ones lays bare the raw emotions, vulnerabilities and body image struggles of those who dug deep to show what it means to be a strong woman-in every sense.

With females still banned from combat and their supposed lack of physical strength used as a reason to keep them out, women from around Massachusetts-including moms, teachers, a landscaper, a prison guard, a journalist and one solider-came to change the rules. Female soldiers were busy serving their country so these civilians stepped in, forming a sisterhood like no other through 75-lb backpack hikes, 110-lb trailer pulls, shared pain, keg parties, snowball fights and a refusal to fail.

Author Sara Hammel, a test subject and reporter with exclusive access to the study, traces the women and their results through the years, revealing how their efforts came full circle decades later when all military jobs were opened up to women. Exclusive interviews with former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, former Congresswoman Pat Schroeder and Shannon Faulkner add context to this historic shift in military policy, anchoring the study firmly in the present.

Offered by Mylibrevs (author): This book is available as ebook only in epub, mobi and PDF formats.

I hope you enjoy this book and post a review on Amazon.

Description: We are roughly a fifth of the way into the 21st century and in these times of technological advances and social media; you would think that times are better than ever. Unfortunately though, for many of us, mental health issues are at an all-time high.

My name is Tom Wilkins and I myself have had my own battles with depression. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve been given is to not suffer in silence and to talk about the issues that are causing you problems rather than to let them fester away at you.

I know that this is not as easy as it sounds so I would like to lead the way by sharing my stories of mental health with you, give you the help and advice that has helped me along the way and to hopefully help you to lead a happier life.

With these stories of mine, I’m hoping that you may find that you can relate to them and see that you’re not alone in your battles. See that many others have been through the difficulties that you have been through but more importantly, have come out better on the other side.

A Short Guide To Grammar At Work! by MK Taylor

This book is an eBook, not a physical book.

Recipient is asked to provide a review in exchange for this book.

Offered by Mylibrevs (author): This book is available as ebook only in epub, mobi and PDF formats.

I hope you enjoy this book and post a review on Amazon.

Description: This little book covers 99.9% of any grammatical challenges encountered in a work context, and is all the reader needs to be confident in understanding and using correct grammar when speaking, presenting or e mailing.

In reality, it’s easy if you just know a few simple rules, and the areas covered here are strictly on a need to know basis, to help give you an edge and greater credibility in increasingly competitive times.

Poor grammar can so often (and totally wrongly) be linked with poor ability, thus negatively affecting other people’s perception and rating of you. This short book can only help to level up that playing field.Just a note-this isn’t about helping anyone to speak or write ‘poshly’, as local accents and turns of phrase are always important for good credibility, but just correctly.

War in Europe had no winners, only survivors if they were fortunate.A hundred years later history, as always, has been rewritten. Twisted and abused to suit the power brokers of the day. The real lives of those who lived those dark days disappeared like the morning mist over the River Lagan. Only ghosts return to tell the tale of their fate and destiny in the most unexpected ways.

Offered by Stephen_Fleming (author): I am the author and offering the ebook copy in hope of honest review.

Description: ◆ Are you a parent looking for ways to engage with your kids, bond with them, and have fun?

◆ Are you looking for ways to help turn off the smart phones, tablets, and television and still have your kids and teens occupied with a fun activity?

In an ever-changing society, there aren't a whole lot of activities that are geared towards children, teens, and parents. Marketing strategies have become so specific that they target the exact age ranges.

Fortunately, if you take a step back from "modern" society, you can get involved in some age-old crafts and practical skills that are fun for the whole family!

Wood carving and whittling are two such crafts. Not only are there projects that range in difficulty for different skill and age groups, but there are some projects that can be completed by two people, giving you a chance to interact and bond with your children face to face. Without the input of noise and visual stimulation from screen entertainment, you and your children can talk to each other and create something together.

Wood carving and whittling are detail-oriented crafts, so it is best to unplug completely, removing distractions like phones and screened devices while participating. It is a good excuse for you and your children to step back and develop a different set of skills.

By utilizing this book, you'll learn why wood carving and whittling are important skills. You will be taught basic techniques and be introduced to the proper tools and materials for these crafts. Additionally, you'll have several beginner projects with step by step instructions to get started on with your children. This is a great place to start you and your children's digital detox and bonding activities!

I've included photographs of realistic beginner projects, and I'll explain the processes and standard operating procedures associated with them.

Below are the topics you would find inside:

✓ Introduction to Whittling

✓ Tools

✓ Process and Techniques ( 1 Project)

Recipient is asked to provide a review in exchange for this book.

Offered by rastjames (author): As the author of this new novel, I would love to get the opinions of some of you wonderful LibraryThing readers, and if you enjoy the book, I would be honored if you would post a review on Amazon.com.
I'm also open to any questions you might have about the plot or characters.
Please note that the subject matter - police brutality - is a sensitive one and may upset some readers. Also note that this novel contains strong language, violence and rape scenes. Viewer discretion is advised.

Description: How much is one man willing to sacrifice to prove that black lives matter?
Ishmael “Ish” Carter is an African American computer whiz. He left his successful software company to proudly fight for his country against the Taliban.
But he’s disturbed by the dramatic increase in news reports of innocent black people murdered by ‘bad’ cops.
He’s haunted by the fact that the same country he’s put his life on the line for still maintains a system of racism that treats so many of its black citizens as though their lives were worthless.
When his young daughter is killed in yet another senseless police shooting, his days of sitting idly by are over. Together with a small group of like-minded individuals, Carter brings his military prowess and years of pent-up anger to the streets to right some wrongs.
FBI Special Agent Dexter Madden is a black man working hard to maintain justice and stay impartial in an America rampant with bigotry, discrimination and hate. It’s his job to stop this so-called ‘domestic terrorist group’, even as he sympathizes with their cause. To complicate matters, certain powers-that-be would rather they be captured dead than alive.
As the black militants set their sights on various corrupt members of law enforcement, Madden finds himself in an untenable situation. He’s caught between loyalty to his job and loyalty to his people. One wrong move could cost him everything, including his life.
Carter and Madden are two African American men on opposite sides of a battle neither can afford to lose.
It's like #BlackLivesMatter meets The A-Team meets Death Wish!
Find out what happens when they go toe-to-toe in a fight for justice in this timely, gut-wrenching, vigilante crime thriller!

She has plenty of new friends there, even if they're all rather strange, even if they paint protection hexes and hang dead fish from their doors at night, even if they eat tea leaves and hunt rattlesnakes. So what if Holly, the boy who Casey met in the forest, is a necromancer's apprentice? Nobody's perfect.

Description: Sarah Bartlett was an Academy Award-nominated film star, an Emmy-nominated television actress and a Yuma Tire Dealers Film Festival-nominated Best Actress Under 5’ 10” in a Movie Using a Callisto MT Font for Its Closing Credits.

Appearing in over 20 films (including The Walrus’s Dentition, The Couture Contagion and The Lithuanian Connection), she also starred in the television shows Broccoli Fudge, Night of the Slippery Chicken Darkness and The Clarinet in Question. Additionally, she narrated several documentaries, including The Du Pont Sock Company Saga, Scooter and Flathead: The Forgotten Roosevelts and Green: A History of the Pickle. There were darker sides to Sarah, though, sides she didn’t want people to know about, sides that might have had graffiti written on them that said, “Blessed are the Peekmokers” (it might have been “Peekmokers,” it might have been “Peacemakers,” it might have been “Pencilmonkeys”—it was graffiti after all, and the spray painter did not have very good penmanship to begin with, and the can of paint was rather old and more than a little drippy.

Here, for the first time, is the entire story of Sarah Bartlett’s life, from her first appearance in front of a donut store to her encounter with a group of trees. Her husband, her children, her dogs and her fashionable shoes are also included. And just in time for the holidays—those holidays being National Sock Day (December 4) and Bathtub Party Day (December 5).

Description: Heir is a novel, written from the perspective of a woman who wants to fulfill sexual pleasure as much as men of her era did. She was not ready to sacrifice her happiness and accept a loveless life as a dictum of fate. However, in all this, she does not come across as a feminist but a shrewd Queen from a vulnerable Princess to get what she wants.

The most popular genre in Erotic novels are billionaires, alpha males, vampires, werewolves, cavemen, Amish, Asian, or revolving around submissive partners (BDSM).

Heir - End of Innocence has a freshness of involving varied erotic situation interweaved in a saga that runs for four generations and involves two kingdom. While the story starts with the story of Padmakishori, she for sure is not damsel in distress or someone who is loved or wanted by everyone. The story follows the politics and conspiracies in two kingdoms that changed the life of Padmakishori as she tries to secure her amorous way of life, intertwined with lives and decisions, and memories. Heir has politics of lust & lust of politics.

The erotic portrayals range from a sensual seduction of mind to uninhibited moments of love and lust to slave auction to the passionate nights in a harem. This novel would appeal readers who like a story set in ancient times, with elements of drama, continuity of the story through time, deception and strong characters with their flaws leading them. Reader who enjoyed Ann Rice’s Sleeping Beauty trilogy would love this novel.
