After being hit by lightning, The Allegheny Regional Branch on Federal Street was built by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. This is now my branch library.
The first PUBLIC library in the US given by Andrew Carnegie in 1889--The Carnegie Library of Allegheny, PA (sorry Braddock, PA -- your library was not a public facility when it first opened)
