Nobel non-laureates, non-male

Description: To date, only twelve women have won the Nobel Prize for literature. This list is for those who should have, but didn't. To qualify, an author should be dead, female, and not have won the literature prize. Please add the "most representative" book by the author you want to nominate; if there's already one of her works here, vote for it.
