Up the Rhine and down the Danube (or vice-versa)

Description: The two great rivers provide a natural route from the North Sea to the Black Sea for travel writers, if they can only figure out a way to get over the watershed on foot, by boat, or whatever. Surprisingly few of them have written books about it, though.
