: "The torch" is a collection of samples of the work of students of the Birmingham School of Printing. Issues appeared in 1933, 1938 and 1950, although none were as spectacular as the first. Included are sample pages, many illustrated, of the books published at the Birmingham School of Printing (a catalogue of those published 1925-1933 is in no. 1) together with the complete text of two of them: "Baskerville letters" and "Baskerville bibliography".
