About My Library
I'm slowly cataloguing my books and am also including my husband's books. I still have some books from my childhood and some books that belonged to both my parents and my husband's parents. Most of them are fiction - classics and contemporary and some science fiction. Non-fiction is a mixed bag, including books on religion, philosophy, history, biography and autobiography, cookery, gardening, yoga, language, travel and nature books. I've also started to add library books and books borrowed from friends as a record of books that I've read.

I'm a lifelong bookaholic and blog at www.booksplease.org mainly about the books I read, but also about other things that interest me. I trained and worked for a while as a librarian in a local history library and then as a cataloguer. More recently I've worked in local government.
