About meAstrid Lindgren (f. 14 november 1907, d. 28 januari 2002) var en svensk barnboksförfattare och manusförfattare. Hon är känd över hela världen för sina barnböcker om bland andra Pippi Långstrump, Emil i Lönneberga och Karlsson på taket.

Astrid Lindgren (14 November 1907 – 28 January 2002) was a Swedish author and screenwriter. She is best known for writing the Pippi Longstocking and Karlsson-on-the-Roof book series.

About my libraryAstrid Lindgren hade ca 4000 böcker i sitt hem i Stockholm. Hennes bibliotek innehåller böcker som hon skrev i original och översättning. Där finns också böcker som hon själv hade anskaffat och som hon fått som gåva. Boksamlingen finns registrerad i Libris databas. Katalogposterna har nu importerats från Libris till Astrid Lindgrens LibraryThing bibliotek.

Astrid Lindgren had about 4000 books in her home library in Stockholm. There are books she wrote in the original language and translation and also books she personally acquired or was given as gifts. The book collection is registered in Libris database (the Swedish National Union Catalogue). The records from Libris are imported in her LibraryThing library.
