About meKathleen Harrison, M.A., Ethnobotanist/Teacher. Co-founder and Exec. Director of Botanical Dimensions (1985). Founder of Botanical Dimensions' Ethnobotany Library (2015).

About my libraryBotanical Dimensions is a non-profit organization dedicated to collect, protect, propagate and understand plants of human use and their lore. This Ethnobotany Library currently holds 2,000 books and periodicals on all interdisciplinary aspects of the plant-culture relationship: botany, mycology, ecology, anthropology, mythology, herbalism, ritual, travel, traditional environmental knowledge, indigenous knowlege, California studies, Pacific studies, Amazonian studies, and more. We are gradually listing them all on LibraryThing, and we are always adding new titles to our physical library too. This research Library is open to the public on Tues & Thurs, Members ($35/yr) have a loan shelf, and are invited to special events. We also host classes on a variety of topics related to plants, fungi and knowledge — a global and historically deep view of ethnobotany and ethnomycology.
