Author Belsebuub began writing in the 2000s. He taught spirituality from 1990 until 2010.

Mark (writing with the pen name Belsebuub) wrote about a large number of topics including out-of-body and near-death experiences, other dimensions of existence, the meaning and origin of dreams, consciousness, self-knowledge, spiritual principles such as karma, and the path to enlightenment.

In 2009 Belsebuub’s book Gazing into the Eternal was a finalist in the Spirituality category of USA News Best Book Awards, and an early edition of his book The Astral Codex was a bestseller in its genre.

In 2010 he withdrew from public life.

Belsebuub made over 70 radio and television show appearances worldwide, including 19 on the BBC. He made his work available for free on his website and chose not to profit from the sale of his books out of principle, as he feels that access to spiritual information should not be restricted only to those who can afford to pay for it.
