About meMy main interests lie in the development of Christian doctrine and liturgical practice in the matrices of the classical world and forming Judaism, particularly in the formative period of the 1st-3rd centuries.

About my libraryThe library reflects my interests as noted above. However, over the years I have cultivated other interests (e.g. post-classical Latin literature, scholasticism) which have left a mark on my shelves. Not everything is catalogued yet... and some never will be as adult children are now building their own libraries in part by decimating mine (hence no philosophy!)
