About meI love reading. Love, love, love! Books, Reading, and Telling Stories are like water to me. I would die with out them (O.k. too much drama.), but my life would definitely be dehydrated, sad, and broken down without them.

About my libraryA bit of everything. These days my favorite genre is picture books. I began reading them last year when I started taking my granddaughter to the library. I was sitting in the children's section when I noticed all these African American biography and history books, books not available when I growing in the sixties and seventies.

I've learned some about children's writers and illustrators. There is so much talent in this genre. Picture Books have opened up a new world to me because there's so much knowledge in these books I never knew. I'm also enjoying the middle grade genre and adult genres. Just having a good time reading these days.

So blessed to have the freedom to pick up a book, and read it without fear. You probably know it, but I just have to say it: Libraries Rock!
