“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.”

About Me

I am a recently retired librarian – records analyst, and an enthusiastic adventure traveller, and photographer. He resides in British Columbia’s bucolic Fraser Valley. This valley is surrounded by mountain scenery, verdant rain forest, and the indomitable Fraser River, with its famous spawning salmon. Mr. Secord graduated from Library School (SLIS, Western University, London, ON), specializing in book design and conservation. After moving to the west coast of Canada following graduation, he accepted various assignments as a research librarian, before seguing into Records Management.
