About meI have been an avid reader since I was a child. My favorite thing growing up was going to the library and participating in the summer reading groups. I love the feeling you get once you finish the last page of a good book. I love collecting books. My favorite smell is an open book. I don't care for ereaders since you can't experience that and it's just not the same.

About my libraryI have read so many books over the years, so some times forget which books I have read. Right now all of the books in my list are books that I have read in the past, some multiple times, own, or want to read. I started keeping track of the books that I read around 2009. Being an avid reader, I can read a book or two a day. I tend to read fast and remember lots of details. Can't wait to read more books. If you have a recommendation, please let me know. I love finding new books.

Hi, Kat! I wanted to write a quick thank you for adding my new book, The Door in the Sky, to your "shelf"! I hope you get a chance to read it! If you ever do, please feel free to drop me a line and tell me what you thought (but if you don't like it, then please be gentle as I cry easily :>)

I was reading your profile and couldn't agree more about e-readers! I think they're amazing, but for me, there's just nothing like holding a real book. I've tried reading books on my parent's Kindle, but I didn't enjoy it at all! Also, I'll bet you're like me and love grabbing a stack of books at the library or bookstore and settling in to read. It's hard to do that with an e-reader!

I saw that we share a couple of favorite authors - JK Rowling and Patricia Wrede. My book is actually similar in feel to the early Harry Potters (not nearly as dark as the later ones) and Wrede's Enchanted Forest series (I LOVED Calling on Dragons!).

I hope you're currently lost in a good book!
All my best,
Sandy
