About meLove books and reading. BA in English from Rutgers University, minors in Writing and English Literature. Currently completing my MA in English and hoping to pursue a career in either the editing or publishing industry.
About my libraryObviously I have a book buying problem, but LibraryThing is the best thing to happen to my collection in a long time. I love that I can catalogue everything and it prevents me(most of the time) from buying doubles of books.
My first loves were Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, and the Babysitter's Club, but I moved on to Louisa May Alcott and Frances Hodgson Burnett. I continuously add books to my library that I consider classics--even if I haven't read them yet. My goal is to have the ultimate library (sliding ladder included haha!).
Along with classics, poetry, and plays, I have a good deal of reference books on writing and language, as well as literary criticism. Typical graduate student reading I suppose!
But sometimes I'm in the mood for something other than what I have to read all the time. So I have lots of fiction--mostly historical, although there are are a bunch of chick lit, fantasy, or young adult/teen and supernatural novels as well.
And finally, I sometimes enjoy biographies and autobiographies, as well as books on history--these round out the nonfiction section of my library.
