About meIn my baby book (age 3), my mother wrote, "Diana can entertain herself for hours with a book." Nothing has changed. I'm a retired writer/editor, married almost 50 years, no kids. In addition to reading, I enjoy genealogy, crossword puzzles, sudoku and kenken. I rescue old photos from antique stores, track down descendants and return the photos to them. I've met people all over the world through that hobby while rescuing more than 100 photos since June of 2009 -- plus an autograph book, a baby book, and a college yearbook.

About my libraryMy library includes both books I've read (whether or not I still own them) and those which I own (and have not read). I'm trying to pare down the books I own, but it's hard to part with friends. I reviewed almost 400 books for Mystery News before it folded -- and many more for my website. Today the only reviews I do are for Library Thing.
