About my libraryThis essentially represents my actual library (though I only listed about 80% so far). Covers, ratings, tags and collections are a work in progress.
With the advent of collections I've added a wishlist for my own convenience.
And no, I have not read all of these books cover to cover. Perish the thought - I would have nothing new to read in the house. But then again, there are many books that I have read which are not present in my own library - sometimes to my chagrin. I will probably be adding some to the "Read but not Owned" collection, but with 60 years of reading behind me I couldn't possibly list them all. For example: sure I've read Huckleberry Finn, The Three Musketeers, Robinson Crusoe, etc., etc., etc. But I can't for the life of me recall if they were the real deal or abridgments, let alone any edition specifics.
Ratings (don't use them much, but if I do):
***** Wonderful.
**** Good.
*** Okay.
** Disappointing.
* Dismal.
Half stars may be used if I can't quite make up my mind.
PLEASE NOTE: The mere fact that I own a book does not mean I necessarily like it or endorse its contents.
