About meI grew up in the East Yorkshire village of North Newbald. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Hull (UK) with a BA in Creative Writing & English, and in 2018 I graduated from the same university, in those same subjects, with an MA (2019). I've lived in Hull since 2008 where I now work as a freelance copy-editor & proofreader. I also read & write a lot. Historical fiction is my favourite genre.

About my libraryI read widely but my favourite genre is historical fiction.

My current top ten authors:

Anne Brontë
Robert E. Howard
Alison Weir
Deborah Swift
Thomas Hardy
Philippa Carr
Louisa May Alcott
P.G. Wodehouse
Emily Brontë
Charlotte Brontë

Anne Brontë's "Tenant of Wildfell Hall" is my favourite work of fiction.
