- About My Library
- My library (not yet all uploaded- not even half yet!) contains, in no particular order:
- history
- biography/autobiography
- historical fiction
- children's fiction
- horror (very small section, that!)
- science fiction and fantasy
- modern French novels
- comic books
- erotica (I hate the term, but it's a good catch-all for novels, art-books, studies on sexuality, reprints of underground '50s magazines, more comics, etc.)
- cookbooks (modern and reprints of old ones back to the 1700s)
- classic novels (i.e. 18th and 19th century novels)
- Folio editions (they're so pretty!)
- Virago editions (I collect the old green-spined ones)
- modern novels (with various sub-sections, such as Scottish novels, Terry Pratchett, etc)
- thrillers
- crime (these two sections live in the toilet)
- poetry
- plays
- feminist criticism and feminist texts
- books about books
- books about language
- books I can't classify or are a single example of a genre.Create your own visitor map!
- About Me
- I read. Constantly. I read at work, I read at home, I read whilst breast-feeding, I read whilst cooking, I read on the toilet, if I could read whilst I was asleep, I would.
I'll read anything, as long as a. it's well-written, and (very occasionally /or), b. it keeps me interested (hence no maths, very little physics, and a bit more biology). But if I'm desperate, I'll ignore b. just to keep my eyes moving over a page.
It's sort of an obsession, sort of an addiction, and wholly part of who I am. I read faster than a speeding bullet, and I remember it all. - Location
