I was hooked and didn't want to put it down! This is a book worth keeping to read again and again. (1), spring for susannah is set in the 1800's on the frontier in the Dakota territory.The characters were well developed very likable! The chemistry between them felt real! The only negative I have I felt the challenges and sacrifices at times were rushed with (1), romance and some unexpected twists. It's well written and the plot definitely held my attention. The characters were well developed and believable. One of my favorite books. I enjoy reading this book every few years. Youngblood's " Scream Vaction" is well written and the characters are fun and real. The children make you laugh with there bantering and teasing!
