About meA 26 year old wide open philosophical pessimistist, novice Spinozist, burgeoning Absurdist, Cynic, Stoic and Kantian with distinct Buddhist & Schopenhaueresque tendencies. An odd ball of contradictions and emotions. A bit of a Solipsist as well to be honest.

Former student library assistant at a now defunct charter school I attended from 2008-2011. I cleaned, sorted, shelved, and reshelved daily a collection of anywhere from 1000 to 2000 books from 2009-2011 in the quaint reading room. I effectively was the sole librarian during that time, only absently monitored by the school’s only secretary. It was based on donations and ran on the honor system, many books did disappear but, locating them was beyond my limited power and my then shy attitude.

I have worked in the past as a volunteer museum docent at the County Department of History & Culture in their various properties. I have also worked with a local small animal shelter (Rabbits/Guinea Pigs/Chinchillas etc.) where I adopted my first Bun.

I am currently an active Wikipedia Editor (usually verifying sources) & my hands are sometimes covered in the blood of my fountain pens—Usually a blue-green color.

About my libraryFestina Lente

Was there a time when dancers with their fiddles
In children's circuses could stay their troubles?
There was a time they could cry over books,
But time has sent its maggot on their track.
Under the arc of the sky they are unsafe.
What's never known is safest in this life.
Under the skysigns they who have no arms
have cleanest hands, and, as the heartless ghost
Alone's unhurt, so the blind man sees best.
~Dylan Thomas

Attempts to source all books from non-Amazon companies/shops (except Audible). If I can find it elsewhere I will pay a premium, Amazon doesn’t need anymore of anyone’s money.

Most books have been read to an extent, but not finished cover-to-cover.
