About My Library
Love being a part of the grammar police force so actually read grammar and style guides, only enjoy horse books if horses are treated intelligently (see Molly Gloss's Hearts of Horses), Jane Eyre fan - including books with Jane Eyre themes. Fiction is my favorite read, but the story must offer me the ability to lose myself and entice me stay up all night while lost. Enjoy some writer-inspiration type books, but end up feeling like I've wasted my time reading when I should be writing.

I gravitate toward essays that either quiet my mind or kick it into high gear and create an immediate need to respond. Political and social commentary do that nicely.
About Me
I love to write, ride, read and play around on my mandolin. Writing: essay and fiction - have published essays on learning, natural living, rural living. Riding: an Arab/Quarter horse who loves trails as much as I do. We're still getting to know each other now that her younger rider has moved on to a younger horse. Reading: fiction, essay, commentary, grammar manuals. Mandolin: I know enough to have fun and keep myself entertained.
